RESTORE ME PDF Print E-mail
A restored body is a clear body. A cleanse, a light fast if you're up to it, or just a few days of light and easy food can reset an angry body. If the following symptoms apply to you, then give yourself a gift of clean eating for as long as you feel comfortable:

Allergy or intolerance to certain foods
Bad breath and foul-smelling gas and stools
Constipation, diarrhea, sluggish elimination, irregular bowel movements
Frequent congestion, colds, and viruses
Flatulence or gas and frequent intestinal disorders
Frequent headaches for no apparent reason
General aches and pains that migrate from one place to another
Intolerance to fatty foods
Low energy; loss of vitality for no apparent reason
Lower back pain
Lowered resistance to infections
Needing to sleep for a long time
Pain in your liver or gall bladder
Pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS), breast soreness, vaginal infections

HYDRATE

Our bodies are 80% water so this is like the oil in your car. You must constantly replace and exchange the oil to keep your car running strong and clean and smoothly. Water washes the toxins from our organs, muscles and blood. It makes sense that if the water is consistently replaced the body is in a state of BALANCE. Again, we have no problem washing our bodies on the outside, so must we wash it on the inside. Water also keeps hunger at bay, helps our brain function, and keeps our skin soft and youthful.

SLEEP

Here are just a few awful things linked to chronic lack of sleep.

High blood pressure
Heart attack
Heart failure
Stroke
Obesity
Psychiatric problems, including depression and other mood disorders
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
Mental impairment
Fetal and childhood growth retardation
Injury from accidents
Disruption of bed partner's sleep quality
Poor quality of life

Rest is essential, and my personal experience has taught me that food allergies kept me awake for years.

I was GLUTEN INTOLERANT for years and didn't know it. As my evening meal was being digested it started a war in my body and disrupted my sleep. See my blog on food allergies and how it affects weight loss. Sleep is also a creature comfort, a gift, a sensuous pleasure that we feel we earn at the end of our long day. So when it's robbed from us, we get angry and feel denied.

So seek YOUR answer to your sleep issues.
