So... you don't have the motivation to do a cleanse; you can't get away on vacation; your mornings are noisy so you don't meditate; the gym is falling off the list too often, but you need to feel like you again. What to do? Let's go back to basics. Ask yourself, "What makes me FEEL GOOD- FAST?" TO GET YOU STARTED, HERE'S MY LIST: - MANICURE/PEDICURE- 1HR, $40 - MOVIE: $10 - GIRLS NIGHT OUT: $25 FOR 1 GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE AND SHARING A MEAL - A SOLO 2 HOURS AT THE BEACH WRITING GOALS AND DAYDREAMING - FREE DANCE LESSONS AT THE LOCAL SPOTS - SAYING NO TO EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE UNTIL YOU ARE OFFICIALLY BORED - DO AS MUCH COMPUTER WORK AS POSSIBLE IN BED ( EMAILS, RESEARCH, ETC.) - RIDICULOUSLY LONG SHOWERS We can always carve some DOWN TIME AND JOY TIME, if we PLAN FOR IT. The body can go for almost as long as we can push it, so it's our mind and soul that are crying out for the break. Pay attention, and slip some focused, restoring moments in until you can really get away. |
